Coffee Central

Nalini and I decided to explore the coffee scene in Chennai. We started off with a local chain - Cafe Coffee Day, which has now been all revamped and prettied up, I think that may have happened after Starbucks announced they are coming to India! Our next stop was Coffee Central in T.Nagar.

It's a nice little warm cafe in the heart of T.Nagar, very close to the Gemini Flyover. They have a bookshelf (with books of course!), some enjoyable board games  and some cozy seating too so that makes it a perfect spot to catch up with a friend or hang out in a group too!

Put-Offs: the first drink we ordered came with some "kuppai" but am glad they took it back and didn't charge! The bigger put-off, we saw the lady assisting the barista sip right out of the bottle in which they store the juice concentrate. Okay, doing that and being so obvious about it is a NO NO! another reason to send the drink back!!! But that is definitely not a reason to avoid this place, I'd go back here :)
